Or at least what I consider fun.. But I agree with you, fabrication is not for everyone for any number of reasons. It is mostly because they can't, not because they wont. For some it may be that they aren't as passionate about their car (which is OK too) and having someone else work on it saves them the grease stained hands. The fact of it though is if you wanted to put it in yourself, its not like you are going to need a full machine shop to do it. Some simple hand tools, ingenuity, and a little time later you could have it installed and working. I wouldn't say it is "fabricating the hell out of something to make it work" by any stretch of the imagination. If one can't bend aluminum in a vice and drill holes with a drill, it probably isn't something that should be attempted. : to want to fabricate the hell out of something to make it work. I love to spend time doing shit like this to my car, but my time is pretty valuable.
: It is worth it to me to spend a little extra on a product that has been tested and proven by members on this forum no less. : Plus there is something to be said about a clean install. : Plus how are you gonna connect your shroud? Trust me, you will want it on there. It will make a 15-20 degree difference, unless you are going to run an electric fan in which case you have a whole new set of problems to worry about. Search on my old posts about our results with that. : aj
